“My husband was so anxious when he first came, but it didn’t take long to make him feel comfortable.”

“He quickly purred and eagerly ate up all the treats in sight. With his adorable little meow, it was hard to resist giving him whatever he wanted.”
In his foster home, he had a whole room to himself and a comfortable bed to enjoy. Katherine, his foster mother, showed him endless patience and love as they went on their journey together.
She let him take the lead, giving him treats whenever he approached. “Once I brought him home, I made sure he was comfortable in the spare room downstairs. He had a whole room and a large bed to himself. Since he was mainly an outdoor cat, I knew the adjustment would be gradual but steady.”
In no time, Hubby was already eagerly waiting at the door, reaching out to touch her hand with his paw in a heartwarming gesture. “He no longer runs away when I come in, now he greets me. He’s figured out that if he meows or chirps loudly enough, someone will open the door and give him some attention.”
Every gentle stroke brought back the softness and luster of Hubby’s fur, making him enjoy being pampered so much that he would happily roll over and knead his foster mother’s hand. As his self-assurance increased, he became even more affectionate with each day that passed. While he still maintained a hint of his unique cattitude, his charm and charisma won over everyone he encountered.
