Meet Vituzzo, the adorable ginger tabby cat who calls Milan, Italy his home. He was living his best cat life with his loving humans until December 2018 when everything changed. Tragically, on December 20, 2018, he was involved in a terrible accident where he was struck by a passing car while his owners were on their honeymoon. Despite the vet’s best efforts, Vituzzo unfortunately lost the use of his hind legs. Here’s a picture of him just moments before this heartbreaking event occurred.
Fast forward to December 2019, Vituzzo was about to receive his new set of prosthetic legs that would allow him to move around with the grace of a feline once again. Despite his physical challenges, Vituzzo is a happy and spirited cat who thrives on affection. In the image captured shortly after the incident, we see the endearing Vituzzo lounging comfortably on his plush sofa.
After his owners decided to chronicle his escapades, they set up an Instagram account to share his adventures with the world. Known as Vituzzo Superstar, the page is chock-full of photos capturing Vituzzo’s daily cat shenanigans and how he’s adjusting to his new prosthetic legs.
