Eddie, the adorable wobbly kitten, found himself at a city shelter in LA at just 4 weeks old, after being discovered as a stray. Despite his unsteady nature, he displayed a strong determination that caught the eye of a shelter worker who decided to foster him.
Upon meeting Eddie, volunteers from the Lange Foundation were immediately captivated by his spirit and offered to take him under their care to give him the best shot at a happy life. Despite his challenges, Eddie, as he was lovingly named, refused to let anything hold him back from enjoying life to the fullest.
The shelter noted that Eddie was able to do everything a typical kitten would do, but struggled with balance issues. However, with the love and support of the Lange Foundation, Eddie was on his way to thriving in his new forever home.
Eddie was just a tiny four-week-old kitten when he was discovered as a stray at Lange Foundation. Despite facing challenges such as cerebellar hypoplasia and potential hydrocephalus, Eddie doesn’t let it slow him down. He loves to play, scamper around the room, and pounce on anything that moves. Despite his unsteadiness, Eddie never lets anything hold him back. The rescue organization, Lange Foundation, shared that Eddie recently underwent surgery for a prolapsed rectum and also visited a neurologist for his wobbliness caused by cerebellar hypoplasia. Fortunately, this condition doesn’t affect his lifespan, it just makes him a bit wobbly on his feet. After his surgery, Eddie bounced back quickly and was immediately back to playing. Not even the Cone of Shame could dampen his spirits.
Eddie’s positive attitude always shines through, despite his challenges. According to the Lange Foundation, he is a cheerful and charming boy who doesn’t let anything dampen his spirits. He enjoys playing and interacting with other animals, especially wrestling with cats and dogs who are willing to play with him. Although his condition makes using the litter box a bit difficult, providing him with a high-sided box has made a significant improvement in his bathroom habits.
