The woman who proudly boasts the title of the most tattooed woman in Britain shared how she deals with the insensitive comments from strangers who judge her appearance. Becky Holt, hailing from Poynton, Cheshire, has an astonishing 95% of her body covered in tattoos, with intricate designs adorning even her face, arm pits, and private areas – amounting to an impressive £35,000 worth of ink. During an interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, she recounted getting her first tattoo at the young age of 15 – her boyfriend’s name inked on her crotch. Despite the negativity she faces, Becky remains unfazed and continues to embrace her unique body art.
The woman who claims to have the most tattoos in Britain shared how people can be quite impolite about her looks, and she often has to brush off mean comments from strangers who see her as “tough” or “aggressive.”
Becky Holt, a 33-year-old woman from Poynton, Cheshire, has tattoos covering 95% of her body, including her face, arm pits, and even her ‘intimate area’, with a total worth of £35,000. Despite her extensive body art, she has faced assumptions and judgment due to her heavily tattooed appearance.
In a social experiment for television, Becky covered up all her tattoos to see how people would react. Interestingly, she found that when she appeared ink-free, people were more willing to help her. She noted that there seemed to be a difference in how people treated her when she asked for assistance or information.
Becky shared her experience, revealing that she encountered rude behavior when she had visible tattoos. She believes that some people view tattoos as intimidating or associate them with a certain stereotype, leading to negative assumptions about her character.
The former model who is now a successful interior designer is adorned with numerous tattoos, and she often finds that people jump to conclusions based on her heavily tattooed appearance.
During her appearance on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she shared that her first tattoo at the age of 15 was her boyfriend’s name, located on her lower abdomen. She expressed frustration at people openly criticizing her appearance, stating that it is her body and her choice, and she doesn’t let other’s opinions bother her. Up until the age of 22, she kept her tattoos hidden, but eventually decided to showcase more daring body art. She mentioned that the most painful tattoo location for her was her armpit, and she has also had tattoos done in intimate areas, describing the experience as both horrific and bearable.
In a recent TV social experiment, Becky shared her experience of covering up all her tattoos. She mentioned that she noticed people were more willing to help her when she didn’t have her tattoos visible. Becky expressed her love for tattoos, describing them as a way to showcase artwork and dedication. She got her first big tattoo of Ganesh on her thigh, but it was still hidden from view. Over time, she went on to get larger tattoos on her legs and arms. One of her favorite tattoos is a depiction of the labyrinth movie on her entire leg.
Until the age of 22, all of her tattoos were discreetly hidden from view. However, as time passed, she made the decision to embrace bolder body art. During an interview with Holly and Phil today, she mentioned, “I have tattoos dedicated to my parents, my sister, and I plan on getting one for my daughter as soon as I can go back to the studio after recently giving birth. Some of my tattoos don’t hold any specific meaning.”
Although her friends and family now support her tattoo choices, it wasn’t always the case. Reflecting on the past, she recalled how her parents were furious when they discovered her first tattoo at the age of 15. Initially, she had kept it hidden, but one day, while partially undressed and carrying laundry downstairs, her parents caught a glimpse of the ink and disliked it so much that they paid to have it covered up with tattoos of flowers.
After a significant transformation, Becky looks quite different from her teenage self now that tattoos adorn her forehead and the side of her face. However, she has decided not to get any more facial tattoos. “Around five years ago, I got my first face tattoo because I had run out of room on my body and always craved more,” she explained. “I used to say that I wouldn’t ink my hands, throat, or face because I preferred them to be hidden by clothing. But my addiction to tattoos grew so strong that I eventually decided, ‘Why not?’ since I’m already heavily tattooed.”
Although her parents were initially opposed to her tattoos when she got her first one at 15, Becky now has the full support of her friends and family. Last year, she even mentioned that she won’t be getting any more on her face as it might affect the overall look. Becky welcomed her first daughter, Aurora Forrest Holt, in December and is open to the idea of Aurora getting tattoos in the future. She expressed her willingness to take Aurora to the best tattoo artist in the UK when she’s older, ensuring that she gets high-quality ink from a trusted source. Becky also noted the evolving tattoo art scene in the UK, emphasizing the incredible talent and diversity found in tattoo shops today.
