After a beloved owner passed away, a devoted kitten refused to leave her side. Spending hours at the old lady’s grave, the young cat tugged at the heartstrings of passerby Keli Keningau Prayitno. Unable to bear seeing the cat mourn alone, Keli decided to take her in and provide comfort. Despite his efforts, the cat’s loyalty remained unwavering, as she continued to visit the grave daily to pay her respects.
The old lady’s cat would make a daily visit to her children’s house, where they would feed her and give her water before she would head back to the cemetery.
Although the cat is offered food and water by people passing by, it steadfastly stays at the grave, choosing to rest and sleep there every night. Keli notes, “It’s touching to see her sleeping and meowing there, highlighting the strong bond between animals and their owners.”
