A disabled cat, born with a handicap, is thriving with the help of her loving owners. Adventures and outings fill her lively daily routine.
Meet Hanny, a Bengal cat who is a true survivor: just hours old, another cat bit her spine, leaving her unable to use her hind legs.
A daring and happy cat thanks to her owners
Despite her disability, the brave little feline lives her life to the fullest with the help of her owners. Her adventurous daily routine is filled with travels and trips by the sea.
“When we rescued Hanny, we knew she would need a lot of help and care, but we still can’t believe how strong she is,” Sarah, the owner of the cat, told the British newspaper Metro.
The eight-month-old kitten gets around with the help of a scarf, where she places her paralyzed legs. This harness, used by her owners, allows her to explore the world around her and enjoy every moment.
And it’s safe to say that her owners are doing everything they can to make her happy. The couple takes Hanny everywhere with them: from activities in caves, to shopping trips, and visits to zoos.
According to them, the quadruped’s favorite place is the beach. Her favorite activities? Rolling around in the sand and splashing in the water and waves: “We go to the beach several times a week, and when we can’t make it there, we take walks in the woods or in the local park.” Hanny couldn’t care less about her paralysis and embraces life to the fullest, much to the delight of her beloved owners.
