A woman from Australia who spent $250,000 on tattoos and body modifications has stated that she has no regrets, even though she acknowledges that her ‘eyeball tattoos’ and ‘tongue split’ didn’t turn out as expected.
She also shared that she experienced shock and seizures during procedures, even though she doesn’t have epilepsy.
“At 16, I had my first tattoo as a way to release negative energy, marking a significant moment for me,” she explained.
“It was a euphoric experience, leaving me feeling peaceful and at home.”
During an interview with Studio 10 on Thursday, Brisbane resident Amber Luke, who is 27 years old, shared details about her extensive body modifications and tattoos. Despite the challenges she faced, such as temporary blindness after an eyeball tattoo gone wrong, she expressed pride and happiness in her unique appearance. Amber revealed that she underwent the process of splitting her tongue twice due to complications during the initial procedure. Describing the experience as extremely painful, she had to endure cutting through scar tissue the second time around. Despite the difficulties, she emphasized that she has no regrets about any of her body modifications.
The social media influencer, who boasts over 600 tattoos, believes that the significant cost of her body art is completely worth it. She feels that going through the extreme stress of getting inked has shown her just how tough and resilient she truly is. “The challenging experiences I have endured have made me incredibly strong and tough. I have also gained a wealth of knowledge about the human body,” she explained. Despite having suffered shock and seizures numerous times, she emphasizes that she is not epileptic. This Instagram and OnlyFans personality, known as ‘Blue Eyes White Dragon’ online, once underwent a painful 40-minute procedure to inject blue ink into her eyeballs. This left her temporarily blind for a three-week period.
Even though her attempt at an eyeball tattoo went awry and resulted in temporary blindness, she proudly stated that she has no regrets about the experience.
Reflecting on a photograph from years past, Amber humorously remarked that she appeared rather “ordinary” and “unremarkable” in comparison to her current self, having undergone a remarkable transformation since early 2017.
Previously, she has openly discussed her struggles with mental health and credited her body modifications for boosting her self-confidence. Among her $70,000 worth of extreme alterations are a tongue split, breast implants, cheek and lip fillers, ear implants, and a Brazilian butt lift. Additionally, Amber sports various piercings and sharpened fang-like teeth. In a throwback photo from when she was 18, she revealed rib tattoos.
She has also invested $70,000 in dramatic body alterations such as a tongue division, breast enhancement, injections to plump up her cheeks and lips, pointed ear implants, and a buttock lift procedure from Brazil.
At 18, I was in a dark place. I felt like a shell of a person, struggling with depression and thoughts of ending it all. Self-hatred consumed me, leaving me numb most days. But fast forward to today, and I’ve completely turned my life around. I’ve grown into a confident and self-assured woman, proud of the person I’ve become.
Reflecting on her journey, she shared that beauty is subjective and that she no longer needs validation from others to feel beautiful.
In May of the previous year, the former topless server for a biker gang narrowly escaped prison time despite admitting to drug trafficking.
She expressed her views on society’s closed mindset and urged for the abandonment of the negative connotations associated with tattoos.
Amber admitted to seven drug charges in December 2020 following a police search of her residence in Capalaba that uncovered sealed bags of marijuana, MDMA, and drug-related items.
During her sentencing at Brisbane District Court in May 2021, it was revealed that she engaged in street-level drug transactions, making significant illegal profits.
Instead of being imprisoned, she received a three-year suspended sentence with immediate parole in order to address her mental health struggles that have affected her life as an adult.
